Marilyn Roberts RID, ASID, CAPS
During Marilyn Roberts years as an interior designer she has become very interested in how legislation affects the profession of Interior Design. For the last 18 years she has been a board member of the Texas Association for Interior Design (TAID) helping to monitor bills that are introduced each legislative session that can change Interior Design, sometimes positively and sometimes negatively. Marilyn is a past president of TAID and a past president of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID). Currently she is also an industry member of IIDA as the representation to designers for Stone Solutions tile here in Austin.

Glenn Garry has served as Communications Manager for TBAE since 2007. A product of Central Texas Schools and the University of Texas at Austin, over the past 22 years he has held a range of public affairs positions in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, never straying far from the State Capitol building in Austin.

Ms. Vandermeulen has more than a decade of professional interior design experience, with an emphasis on energy-conscious healthcare, hospitality and education environments. Her expertise lies in understanding the complexities of medical facilities and spaces that support patient care, both through the functionality and durability of the finishes and the project’s overall sustainability.
Liz thompson NCIDQ, RAS, LEED GA, iida, idec, asid
Approximately 30 years of professional accomplishments as an Interior Designer with specializations in Accessibility and Universal Design within the Commercial, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare and Residential sectors. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to determine their needs, space planning, selection of furniture, finishes, and lighting. Working with project budgets and schedules.
